I thought that lovable hind meant hind end or booty. I told my Bible study conductors this and they got a good laugh.I can't imagine being compared to a cow, though. The article cited actually says that girls are overcome by their eggs when they are released and then must control themselves because the males won't/can't control themselves.
I always hated those who puy the decision to have sex only on the girl. Are the males braindead or something? Oh, and I don't appreciate being called a hind or mountain goat, but I hate being called a cow.

All the passing and no eating always made me feel wierd too. I came from a church background and this was just plain crazy. Why even bother with the ceremony if no one partakes. We can show our thanks for the ransom at another meeting.
Since you're still in, do any of the jws have questions or think all the changes are strange? Or are they just thanking the Gov. body for the wonderful "new light?"

With Michigan.
I have been to Michigan many times and I just love the lake and the landscape. The sunsets over Lake Michigan are the most beautiful I have ever seen. I have been to most places up the west coast along the lake. The flowers grow so nicely there, because of the climate. Then there are wineries and fruit orchards throughout the state.
Anyone here from Michigan? Do you like it? The one thing I havn't done is go there much in the winter. I did one time on a ski trip and loved that too. They have snowmobile trails all over. Are those fun to use?
I ask because I think I might retire up there. Those who live there year round, what do you think? Would you reccommend it or are the winters just too long?

I wouldn't have given her the job either. I work where I am called by my first name and the all important physicians are called Dr. so and so. I prefer them using my first name.

Brother and Sister always bothered me from the get-go. Often referred to others by first name only way back when.

No, I mean detest titles. The borg. experience has left me with a revulsion to titles. I don't think it is all good, though. There need to be labels in your life, mother, daugter, wife, psychologist, etc. Right? Then I think that even those labels need to get lost, too, if we are going to enjoy the total experience of just being. Then I think why am I thinking about all these things all the time? Then I just begin to listen to the coversation in my mind and notice all the drama in my life created by my mind.
And then I just listen to some music and go outside and tend the garden as the sun sets. Pretty much describes a day in the life of the person I have come to know as me.
